Panama Surf School is the longest-running formal surf school near El Palmar, founded in 2005 by Argentine surfer Flor Villareal. Located on Calle 4ta Sur in El Palmar, it offers lessons for all ages and skill levels with bilingual (English/Spanish) instructors, weekend clinics, and board and SUP rentals. On-site amenities include changing rooms, showers, restrooms, a small surf shop, healthy food service and free parking. The school holds a 5.0 rating on TripAdvisor and also helps arrange water activities such as snorkeling. It sits about 1.5 hours from Panama City, right by one of the country’s best-known surf beaches.
