Nueva Gorgona sits just off the Pan-American Highway (Interamericana) in the district of Chame, Panama Oeste. Several public access points and community roads lead down toward the sand between the condo developments. Coming from Panama City, most drivers take the highway toward Coronado and turn off at Gorgona. Public buses running the coastal route will drop you near the entrance road, from where the beach is a short walk.
